I am currently studying a BA (Honours) in Fashion Design at Limerick School of Art and Design, Limerick Institute of Technology, Ireland, which has recently been ranked as one of the top 50 fashion colleges worldwide, a list which includes Fashion colleges in London, Paris and New York. It is the only Irish Fashion department to be included.

Throughout the last three years in college I have learned many skills such as pattern drafting, sewing, finishing, drawing, illustrating, grading, fabric manipulation, learning to create innovative and exciting designs in both menswear and womenswear, garment production, and market research. When designing I combine these skills and use them to the best of my ability to get original and innovative designs. Throughout the course I am continuously learning and developing my own particular creative direction through a range of projects that help me discover and develop my aesthetic as a designer. As a designer, I enjoy creating patterns that will give my garments an innovative spec and cut. I am also very interested in textural work.
